| OUR
GOAL!
A healthy, happy horse and owner! |
John and Diane Kibler are both native Charlotteans who have
enjoyed being around horses all of their lives. John was raised
on a farm in North Mecklenburg and began taking care of horses
as a child, while Diane became more interested in horses as
an adult. They have both done extensive volunteer work with
therapeutic riding and enjoy horses from the ground and from
the saddle.
Stephanie (Kibler) Shepard, the barn manager, graduated from
NC State University in 2003 with a BS degree in Animal Science
specializing in Equine Management. She has been riding since
the age of seven and worked as a riding instructor at summer
camps for years. She was barn manager at Misty Meadows Farm
in Weddington, NC for several years.
Irish Shamrock is our 18 year old American Saddlebred for whom
the farm is named. He is Stephanie’s retired show horse
and is living the life of luxury in his pasture. We also have
two American Quarter Horses named Miracle and Spice. Miracle
was raised and trained by Stephanie from birth. Spice was a
rescue project who has turned into a wonderful member of the
family.
We will do all that we can to insure that your horse is safe
and healthy and becomes part of our horse family.
